GSI 's focus is upon emerging technologies that can provide significant leaps forward within organizations or for the benefit of their constituencies in the areas of healthcare, security, ICT, and independent living. Our work ranges from high-level research to product innovation and commercialization and ultimately to practical deployment and implementation. Our research work is mainly focused upon the needs of policy-makers in the public sector, while our work with the private sector includes management of large-scale deployments, applying innovative approaches to solving implementation challenges, and providing specialized resources to help absorb the impacts of major technology change.
