Ageing Policy Resources
As the demographic shift towards an increasingly older population continues in developed countries, governmental organisations and NGOs shift their focus to providing greater support for the elderly and their caretakers to improve quality of life through independent aging. Likewise, industry seeks to bring a plethora of new services and products to this burgeoning marketplace. With so much change, policymakers provide guidance across this spectrum of change.
A policy discussion paper, written for the Workshop on Ethics and e-Inclusion, held in Bled, Slovenia (12 May 2008), “Ethics of e-Inclusion of Older People”, was completed. To obtain a copy of this paper, write to us at info@globalseci.com. For more information about the e-Inclusion conference in Bled, visit the official SENIOR website.
The following links provide insights into issues of Ageing as they are being addressed at various levels around the globe. While it is hardly possible to be comprehensive, these links should provide reasonable depth and breadth of information to the reader about programs that are relevant to the ageing individual, their caregivers, family, physicians, as well as those interested in governmental policy concerns.
