Global Security Intelligence was launched in 2005, responding to a need both in the public and private sectors for a more holistic approach to security problems. Often, a single-minded focus on technology has resulted in less-than-effective deployments of security solutions. Our vision of holistic security solutions encompasses the full range of issues that can impact whether security technologies will be effectively woven into the fabric of an organization’s infrastructure, its processes, and ultimately, its culture.
Our team has been built based upon engaging individuals with a depth of understanding of current and emerging security problems, technology solution development and deployment, communication processes, organizational and management issues, as well as elite individual players whose talents in their areas of specialization provide for highly efficient analysis, planning, development, deployment, and auditing of security infrastructure, systems, processes, impacts, and compliance.
In addition to engaging professionals in the fields of security, software development, communication, organizational development, management, and financial analysis, we extend our network and the depth and breadth of our knowledge by contributing to, and engaging with thought leaders, in international bodies committed to examining the impact of security on industry and society. This enables us to continue to stay informed about emerging trends and to provide connections for our clients to individuals and organizations in a broad range of interest areas.
We invest our own time in doing empirical research, publishing some of the topics of more common interest to our Research Centre. We ensure that our clients will benefit from the intellectual curiosity of our staff as we engage with them to address issues as diverse as privacy/ethics impacts of security solutions within society and effectiveness of security technologies in correctional settings.
